Who we are
NJGolfSimulator.com is a website operated by ynVISION. You can reach us about anything in this policy at [email protected] or 973-657-2002.
What we collect
You can browse this website without creating an account or actively providing your name, email address, or telephone number. Like most websites, however, our hosting and security providers automatically process limited technical information when you visit or interact with the site. We collect additional information when you choose to contact us or submit a quote request.
- Information you provide. If you submit a quote request or contact us, this may include your name, email address, and phone number; ZIP code, project type, approximate room dimensions (optional), whether you swing right- or left-handed, a budget range, equipment or launch-monitor preferences, and any message you add.
- Uploaded photos. You may attach up to four photos of your space to a quote request. Photos are optional.
- Communications. Anything you tell us if you call or email us directly.
- Technical and security information automatically processed. Like most websites, ours is served through hosting and security providers that automatically process limited technical information whenever you visit or interact with the site, whether or not you submit a form. This may include your IP address, browser and device information, the page requested or the page you came from, the date and time of the request, and security, bot-detection, and abuse-prevention signals. When you submit the quote form, some of this technical information is also included in the message our server sends to our business mailbox; technical information processed during ordinary browsing is handled by our hosting and security providers and is not necessarily visible to us or included in that email.
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, payment-card information, account passwords, security codes, medical information, or other highly sensitive information through the quote form.
Where this information comes from
We get information from a few sources: directly from you when you fill out a form, call, or email us; automatically from your browser or device, processed by our hosting and security providers, whenever you visit, use, or submit information through this website, whether or not you submit a form; and, where necessary to validate and protect a request, from the security and infrastructure providers described below.
How we use your information
We use the information you submit to:
- review and respond to your inquiry;
- evaluate your project and prepare a quote;
- communicate with you about the products or services you asked about;
- provide customer support;
- protect this website and the quote form from abuse;
- maintain appropriate business records;
- comply with legal obligations; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, and troubleshoot and maintain the website.
We do not use information collected through this website for targeted advertising. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide any notice or choices required by applicable law.
Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not process it for targeted advertising. To operate this website and deliver your quote request, we do share information with service providers who process it on our behalf, including:
- Website hosting and security providers, including Cloudflare, which serve and protect the site, operate the bot-detection service used on the quote form, and may process technical and security information according to their own service terms and retention practices.
- Email hosting and delivery providers, which transmit and receive the email that carries your quote request to our business mailbox.
- Authorized team members who reasonably need access to respond to your inquiry.
- Contractors or professional advisers, on a need-to-know basis, when reasonably necessary to run the business or obtain professional advice.
- Government authorities or other parties when required by law, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
Depending on their role, these recipients may receive contact information, project and quote information, uploaded photos, communications, and technical or security information, but only as reasonably necessary for their function.
How quote requests and photos are handled
Quote requests are processed using our website hosting, security, and email service providers. Requests may be screened for spam, fraud, and abuse before being delivered to our business email system.
Authorized team members use the information you provide, including any optional photos, to evaluate your project, prepare or discuss a quote, and respond to your inquiry. Accepted inquiries may remain in email messages, attachments, provider systems, security logs, and backups as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
We do not intentionally publish uploaded photos or make them publicly accessible. The application does not intentionally store the original uploaded file in a separate customer database or public file location. We take steps to remove specified unnecessary metadata from accepted photos before forwarding them. You should still review every photo before uploading it and avoid including anything you do not want to share; see the guidance next to the upload field on the quote form.
Cookies and analytics
We do not currently use advertising or web-analytics cookies on this website. Our hosting and security providers may use limited cookies, identifiers, or similar technologies when necessary to deliver the website, verify legitimate form submissions, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
Do Not Track and browser privacy signals
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting that sends a signal to websites you visit. Because there is no universally accepted standard for responding to these signals, this website does not currently respond differently when it receives a Do Not Track signal. However, we do not use this website to track visitors across unrelated websites for targeted advertising, and we do not knowingly allow third parties to collect personal information through this website for that purpose.
We do not sell personal information or process it for targeted advertising. Because we do not engage in those activities, browser-based opt-out signals do not change how we process information on this website. If our practices change, we will update this policy and honor legally required browser-based opt-out signals where applicable.
How long we keep it
We retain quote requests, uploaded photos contained in those requests, and related communications only for as long as reasonably necessary for purposes such as responding to your inquiry, providing requested services, maintaining business, warranty, contract, or tax records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud or abuse, enforcing agreements, and complying with legal obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the inquiry and applicable legal or operational requirements. If you would like the information from your inquiry deleted sooner, contact us using the details below and we will make reasonable efforts to do so, subject to the limits described in the next section.
Your privacy choices and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you, to access or correct it, to delete it, or to receive a portable copy.
To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Request” and enough detail for us to locate your information — such as your name, the email address or phone number you used, roughly when you contacted us, and the nature of your request. We may need to reasonably verify your identity first; for a typical quote inquiry this should not require more than confirming the details above. We will respond within the period required by applicable law, and we may decline or limit a request where permitted or required by law. Certain records may be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or business-record purposes even after a deletion request.
Appeals
If we decline to act on a privacy request, you may appeal by emailing [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Appeal” and a short explanation of why you believe the decision should be reconsidered. We will review the appeal and respond within the period required by applicable law. Where required, our response to a denied appeal will explain how to contact the appropriate regulatory authority.
Sale, targeted advertising, and profiling
We do not sell personal information, process quote-request information for targeted advertising, or use it to profile individuals for decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. If these practices change, we will update this policy and provide any notices or choices required by applicable law.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, quote submissions are validated on our server, uploaded files are checked before they are accepted and we take steps to remove unnecessary metadata from them, and the quote form is protected against automated abuse with bot detection and rate limiting. We seek to limit access to people who reasonably need the information to handle inquiries, operate the website, provide services, or support the business, and we aim to collect only what your inquiry needs and keep as little as reasonably possible. No method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is intended for adults seeking golf simulator design and installation services. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 submitted personal information, we will review the situation and take appropriate steps, which may include deleting the information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our website, services, or information practices change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. When required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
